This Privacy Policy applies to the app Blurty (hereinafter „App“), developed by Dominik Boch. Protecting your data is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

2. Data stored locally on your device
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to us:
- Language preference – so the app remembers your chosen language (German/English) on next launch.
- Premium status – whether you have completed the in-app purchase.
- Anonymous device ID – a randomly generated string (no connection to your identity) used solely for the multiplayer feature.
This data never leaves your device when using single-device mode.
3. Data collected in Multiplayer mode
When you use Multiplayer mode, the following data is temporarily stored in our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore):
- Your chosen player name – freely entered by you before playing.
- Anonymous device ID – a randomly generated ID with no personal reference.
- Game progress – scores, current round, voting results.
This data is used solely to conduct the real-time game session and is automatically deleted no later than 6 hours after the game ends. There is no permanent storage, no analysis, and no sharing with third parties.
In single-device mode, no data is transmitted to any external server.
4. Third-party service: Google Firebase
For multiplayer functionality, we use Google Firebase Firestore (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Firebase may process technical metadata such as IP addresses as part of normal service delivery. This is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive any payment data. Apple’s and Google’s respective privacy policies apply.
6. Children
The app contains a category with adult content (18+) and is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data stored about you
- Rectification of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data
- Restriction of processing
- Object to processing
Since only an anonymous player name without account information is stored in multiplayer mode, it is generally not possible to link this to your identity. For requests, contact: info@loveplacesapp.de
